Casa Slovacca, the Slovak Olympic House, will host the National Exhibition of Slovakia featuring representatives from multiple regions over two days, February 19 and 20, in celebration of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Visitors will learn about their offerings, traditions, tourism potential, as well as modern visions for tourism in their areas.
The National Exhibition is part of the Casa Slovacca program, which serves as a platform to present Slovakia on the international stage during the Olympic days. "It is a celebration of Slovakia's greatest treasure—its people and regions. At the Olympic House these days, we offer a diverse selection from west to east of the country, with each region bringing its unique energy, traditions, and vision. Together, we present a nation that honors its roots while boldly moving forward. I believe this joint presentation will offer visitors an authentic experience, enhance Slovakia's reputation internationally, and inspire people to visit our country in the future," said Matej Fekete, CEO of SLOVAKIA TRAVEL.
On Thursday and Friday, the following organizations will present their regions at the Slovak Olympic House:
KOCR Trnava Region of Experiences,
OOCR Central Slovakia,
OOCR Trenčín Region,
OOCR Šariš,
Hotel Zochova chata.
"Visitors can stop by their stands, speak with regional representatives, browse promotional materials, and discover what each region has to offer," explained Michaela Šimoničová, project manager and Casa Slovacca ambassador for SLOVAKIA TRAVEL.
The goal of the presentation is to promote inbound tourism from abroad and attract visitors to vacation in Slovakia.
On this occasion, the national organization SLOVAKIA TRAVEL has also provided space within Casa Slovacca for tour operators, where Slovakia will be presented as an attractive holiday destination by experts. The aim is to include Slovakia in travel package offerings.
Casa Slovacca is established by SLOVAKIA TRAVEL, the national organization for tourism promotion and support,
in cooperation with the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee.
