During the Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026, Slovakia will symbolically find itself at the center of international events through the national presentation of Slovakia during the Winter Olympic Games. “Casa Slovacca” will be, throughout the Olympics — one of the biggest sporting celebrations — a place for meetings between athletes, partners, fans, and visitors from around the world. The national organization for the promotion of tourism SLOVAKIA TRAVEL has launched registration for entry this week.
Casa Slovacca will bring the atmosphere of Slovakia to the center of Milan through sport, culture, gastronomy, and regional presentations. It will offer visitors an all-day program, live broadcasts of Olympic disciplines, live music and folklore performances, as well as space for networking and personal meetings. “Our goal is to create a space that will naturally be a meeting place during the Olympic Games and also an authentic presentation of Slovakia. Casa Slovacca will bring together sport, culture, gastronomy, and people — confidently and with a clear Slovak identity,” said Matej Fekete, Director General of SLOVAKIA TRAVEL.
The Casa Slovacca program is designed so that every day brings the atmosphere of Slovakia in its full breadth.
It will include:
live broadcasts of Olympic competitions on a large screen,
performances by folklore ensembles and musicians,
presentations of Slovak regions,
tastings of traditional and modern Slovak gastronomy,
networking with Slovak athletes and partners.
Registration can be done directly on the website: Casa Slovacca Milano 2026. “Entry to Casa Slovacca is free for the public, but it is subject to prior registration, which helps us ensure smooth organization and visitor comfort,” emphasized the Director General of SLOVAKIA TRAVEL, Matej Fekete.
Registration guarantees all-day entry, fast check-in, the opportunity to participate in activities with limited capacity, and regular program information sent by e-mail.
An integral part of Casa Slovacca is also gastronomy, through which visitors can literally taste Slovakia. The prepared menu blends traditional recipes with a modern gastronomic approach and offers regional specialties from all over Slovakia, sweet treats, craft products, as well as coffee, teas, and drinks from Slovak producers. The restaurant area in Casa Slovacca will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Important dates include the official opening of Casa Slovacca on February 7, Slovak National Day on February 12, Slovak-Italian Day on February 13, the February 18 premiere of the film Champion, and the national exhibition for the 2026 Olympic Games taking place on February 19 and 20.
Casa Slovacca will be in Galleria Meravigli at Via Gaetano Negri 6 in Milan. The space is easily accessible by public transport and on foot from the wider center of events. The nearest metro station is Cordusio (Line M1), approximately a two-minute walk away. Other public transport lines, trams, and taxis are also available.
“Casa Slovacca will be a place where Slovakia lives, connects, and represents itself during the Olympic Games — confidently, authentically, and with an open heart,” concluded Matej Fekete.
Casa Slovacca is being organised by the SLOVAKIA TRAVEL, the national organization for the support and promotion of tourism, in cooperation with the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee.
